About Amesbury Netball Club
Amesbury Netball Club is a community club created to make netball accessible, enjoyable, and consistent for people who want to move more, learn skills, and feel part of a team. Whether you are returning to the sport, trying it for the first time, or looking for a regular competitive outlet, you will find a friendly place to train and develop.

OUR GROUPS
Our groups are structured to support players at different levels, from those developing core skills to those seeking regular competitive match play. Training and team placement focus on confidence, consistency, and progression, ensuring each player is supported in an environment that matches their experience and goals.
BEE NETBALL
Bee Netball introduces children to the game in a structured, positive environment that builds confidence, coordination, and enjoyment. Sessions focus on movement, catching, throwing, and basic game understanding through age-appropriate activities, encouraging participation and teamwork while developing fundamental netball skills.
ADULT NETBALL
Adult Netball is open to all abilities, from those returning to the sport to complete beginners. Sessions combine skills development, structured drills, and match play in a supportive setting, offering a consistent way to stay active, improve fitness, and play netball as part of a welcoming club community.
JUNIOR NETBALL
Junior netball at Amesbury is designed for players aged 11 to 14 who want to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Sessions focus on accurate passing, controlled footwork, shooting technique and tactical awareness, helping players strengthen their performance while enjoying competitive, team-based netball.
MIXED NETBALL
Mixed netball is experiencing rapid growth across the UK, and Amesbury Netball club is committed to inclusivity by offering opportunities for everyone to participate. The club organises local mixed netball sessions and matches, aiming to foster community engagement and broaden access to the sport.

Netball has been part of my life for as long as I can remember – it’s more than just a game. It’s about teamwork, confidence, and community. That’s exactly why I’ve wanted to bring back Amesbury Netball Club 💛💚
I’m especially proud to offer netball to girls and boys from age 5 through the England 🐝 Bee Netball scheme. It’s a brilliant way for children to stay active, learn new skills, make friends, and grow in confidence – all while having fun!

I love sharing my enthusiasm for the sport and helping players of all levels develop their skills, teamwork, and confidence on court in a safe inclusive environment.
I am excited to bring netball to Amesbury, creating opportunities for young boys and girls to get involved, stay active, and enjoy everything this amazing sport has to offer

Being apart of bee netball is important for me because it gives me a chance to share my passion for netball while helping the little ones build confidence, teamwork, and new skills.
Watching their excitement as they learn, improve, and celebrate little wins makes the experience rewarding.
Beyond the sport itself, i enjoy creating a fun, supportive environment where kids can stay active, make friends, and grow both on and off the court.

What equipment do I need to bring to training sessions?
We recommend wearing appropriate sportswear and trainers to training sessions. Along with a refilable water bottle. We provide all necessary netball equipment.
Are there age restrictions for joining the club?
There are no age restrictions at Amesbury Netball Club. We welcome players of all ages and skill levels. We will find the group for you!
Can I participate in tournaments if I'm a beginner?
Yes, beginners are encouraged to participate in Netball Tournaments. This will always depend on Tournament requirements and age limits. Tournaments are a great opportunity to gain experience and have fun on the court!
